Funds are for the construction of an addition to the daycare facility, site development, professional fees and equipment purchases. Expansion will allow an additional afternoon preschool class.

Bridge River Indian Band – Lillooet

Funds are for site development, professional fees, equipment purchases and construction of a new multi-purpose building on band-owned land for a First Nation’s Headstart program.

Funds are for equipment purchases for a new group daycare space. The society currently operates a 12-space, under 36 month group child care program in another location.

Langley Meadows Community Association – Langley

Funds are for the restoration and renovation of the lower level of Matheson House, a heritage home. Twenty existing out of school care spaces will also be relocated into this new space.

Little Mountain Neighbourhood House – Vancouver

Funds are for site development, professional fees and construction costs to build a new, 1,485-sq.-ft. licensed preschool and 1,939-sq.-ft. rooftop play area in a multi-purpose neighbourhood house facility. The society currently operates a 15-space special needs program and a 30-space out of school care program at other locations in Vancouver.

Funds are for site development, equipment and renovations to a leased, ground-level space at Providence Health Care, Youville Residence for Seniors. This facility will also serve as an observation and training site for students in training at the Montessori Training Centre of BC.

Seabird Island Band – Agassiz

Funds are for site development, professional fees and construction of an expansion to the existing daycare facility. Currently, the band operates a 25-space, group 30+ month daycare program in the same facility.

Funds are for equipment, professional fees, and renovation to two existing, vacant modular buildings to create 30 licensed out of school care spaces at David Livingstone Elementary School. They currently operate 219 OOS spaces in other locations.

Funds are for site development, equipment purchases and renovations to a resource room/classroom in Millside Elementary School. The society currently operates a 25-space, 30+ month group daycare program in another location.

Young Women’s Christian Association of Vancouver- Vancouver

Funds are for site development, professional fees, equipment and construction of a new, 3,400-sq.-ft. modular daycare building. This will expand child care spaces for teen parents attending Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School Program. The current child care program is located in two older buildings totalling 1,962 sq. ft.
