Launching Pad Recovery House, at 984-160 Street in Surrey, provides 28 beds (six single and 11 double rooms) of transitional housing for homeless individuals in recovery from addictions. The single-storey residence was opened to tenants in June 2001 and has remained fully occupied since.
Residents are provided with meals,
counselling, life-skills training and employment and education programs.
Launching Pad provides a variety of programs to its clients include: advocacy and education regarding recovery from substance abuse; self assessment and personal development; relapse prevention; and developing and maintaining healthy relationships.

Addiction Rehabilitation Society
Founded in 1994 to operate a 12-bed facility in Aldergrove, B.C., Launching
Pad Addiction Rehabilitation Society is a non-profit agency whose goal is to
provide addictions solutions, education and support to men in recovery from
substance and alcohol abuse and their families. In the past 13 years of
operation, the society has seen several hundred men recover from addictions and
provided supportive housing for about 1,400 tenants.
