VICTORIA – The province’s six health authorities today posted their 2007/08 service plans.
The service plans support the direction and priorities set by government, and are part of government’s commitment to continuous improvement in transparency and accountability.
Crown corporations have been required to submit service plans since 2000. This requirement was extended to health authorities this year – a transition year. Previously, performance agreements were the key accountability documents and they were publicly posted.
The service plans can be found on the websites of the health authorities. Links for all the health authorities can be found at: www.healthservices.gov.bc.ca/socsec/
