BREAST HEALTH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s TELUS Tour for the Cure public awareness campaign about breast cancer health is up and running for the third year.  The public awareness campaign will visit 24 communities and give 42 Breast Health Information Sessions at Aboriginal Friendship Centres and First Nations communities throughout B.C. A team of six women will accompany the exhibit to share their message of breast cancer prevention and early detection, expecting to reach an estimated 250,000 British Columbians – both Aboriginal and non-aboriginal.

At Victoria’s Mayfair Shopping Centre, Exhibit hours will be: Monday and Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday to Friday,             9:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Sunday and holidays, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
