BASELINE AIR TESTING SHOWS MINIMAL FORMALDEHYDE
PRINCE GEORGE – Results from the initial baseline air quality testing in the Millar Addition area of Prince George show formaldehyde levels are below provincial limits.
Air samples were collected by Ministry of Environment staff and analyzed for a number of air contaminants, including formaldehyde. All results were below detectable limits.
Air testing was conducted on May 26 to help form baseline data. Additional testing will continue over the coming weeks, including on days with poor air quality to ensure testing reflects a worst-case scenario. Test results will continue to be shared with PG Air, which will provide each set of results to stakeholders and media.
