Coroners Service confirms identity of second truck driver

 

KELOWNA – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of the second of two truck drivers who died in a motor vehicle incident south of Kamloops on Oct. 5, 2012. 

 

He was Kewal Singh Kailey, aged 49, of Abbotsford.

 

Mr. Kailey was the driver of one of two semi-trailer trucks which collided head-on on Highway 5A near Stump Lake about 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 5.

 

The driver of the second truck, Gary Miller of Kamloops, was also killed in the collision and resulting fire.

 

The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this incident.

 

The family of Mr. Kailey has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
