BC Coroners Service confirms identity of deceased driver

 

PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died in a motor vehicle incident south of Prince George on Oct. 28, 2012.

 

He was Tyler Andrew Mackenzie, aged 21, of Prince George.

 

Mr. Mackenzie was a rear-seat passenger in a northbound car that was in a head-on collision with a southbound pickup truck on Highway 97 South. Mr. Mackenzie was pronounced dead at the scene. 

 

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

 

The family of Mr. Mackenzie has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
