BC Coroners Service confirms identity of deceased driver

 

PRINCE GEORGE - The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following a motor vehicle incident near McBride on Oct. 26, 2012. 

 

He was Vernon Kirk Adams, aged 73, of McBride.

 

Mr. Adams was the driver of a westbound car which was in a head-on collision with an eastbound pickup truck on Highway 16 at about 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 26, 2012. Mr. Adams was transported by ambulance to hospital in McBride, but could not be resuscitated.

 

The Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.

 

The family of Mr. Adams has been notified of his death. On behalf of the family members, the Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
